Carrie Hemming – Owner

For the past 18 years, I’ve been proud to call Waunakee home, raising my family here while serving the community in multiple public safety and healthcare roles. I retired from the Madison Police Department after 27 years, where I worked as a patrol officer, training officer, active shooter response instructor, emergency preparedness committee member, and lead medic for special events.

In addition, I served eight years as a certified Firefighter II with the Middleton Fire District, and I’ve volunteered with Waunakee Area EMS for 18 years'. I’m currently licensed as a paramedic. I am also a Registered Nurse, a certified instructor for both the Wisconsin Department of Justice and Department of Health Services, a full-time EMS instructor for UW Health, and a part-time officer with the Wisconsin State Capitol Police.

My mission is simple: to help individuals, families, organizations, and businesses become safer, more prepared, and more confident in their daily lives.
